| This past Saturday, 25/5/02, in the early afternoon I bought a small Copeland Spode bowl that I found on a table just outside of your shop. You had four and each was marked 20 Euros. I asked you if you would take 15 Euro for one. You said yes. Then I needed to wait while you assisted another customer who had a 10 Euro bill because you didn't have a 10 Euro bill to give me as part of my change. I just want you to know that my husband and I hunted for the flea market for hours that day and finding it and finding that beautiful bowl and your being so nice to me made that day of our in Paris. We had to return home the next day. I took one of your cards to prove that we had finally found the market! I loved the things in your shop! Thank you. |

I am looking for any information on a plate I have. On its back is: a date stamp Jan. 23, 1906, J.P.L., France. Below that is a wreath with a delicate pink ribbon entwined. In its center is "J.Pouyat Limoges." Below that is a hand written "Hand painted" where the H is capitalized and the p is not and the t is not crossed. The front of the plate has a purple-enameled painted fishing scene with 3 fishermen with a net in a small boat on a foggy still water, and is signed "Jean." Any onformation on this piece is greatly appreciated. Thank you. Lovely web site. |
